Experience & Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 2 decades of human services experience. My work is integrative with strength based, evidence based and trauma informed care while forming a collaborative relationship. I specialize in working with individuals and couples who are struggling with anxiety, life transitions and trauma. To help you to explore all parts of yourself, I bring acceptance, curiosity and non-judgement into each session. I am opened to how people approach their faith according to their personal beliefs.
My formal education includes a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Gottman Level 1. Certified in PREPARE / ENRICH for pre-martial and marriage counseling and Anger Management Essentials.
Prior to becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over 25 years in corporate America. When not working, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, my dog Bella, traveling and sight seeing.
